It snowed another 10 inches last week. Friday, I bundled up the kids and we went walking in the fields. The snow was up to their hips, but we made it to a fence post in the field and pretended it was the North Pole. Because of the baby being so little, it's not often that we can all play outside so that was really special. Saturday night, hubby and I went snowshoeing by moonlight - gorgeous night.
We went to Powhatan and Ryan got to feed cows and ride in the tractor to feed hay. Okay, so I did, too. It always makes me feel like a kid again and there's something absurd to feel like you're 10, but have your own child at the same time. I love watching him enjoy the farm.
"And if you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness, and your night will become like the noonday. The LORD will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail. " Isaiah 58
